Gears

I started serious photography when I started working for a private farm and was able to buy one decent film camera with my first-year earnings. It was a Russian built Zenit camera, a popular brand in India during the early eighties. It was a heavy metallic, manually operated camera that helped me to play with aperture and shutter speed – learning through experience.

Since the mid-nineties I settled on Nikon gears, upgrading them in regular intervals. Experts say equipment is not everything, but it certainly can help, talent and determination matter and getting out there to get the photos. Quality equipment does matter, and only experience can perfect the use of quality equipment.
